Sign ups for next Fall are beginning now.  Just copy and fill out the Registration form here on this blog I will be teaching next fall 2023 for just 4-5 year olds on Tuesdays/Thursdays. First class will begin at 8:30-10:30 am and then class 2 will begin at 10:45-12:45. If you sign up on or before January 31rst your payment for each month will be $100.00 instead of $125.00. After which the cost will be $125.00.  There will be only 10 students in each class.  Please send in your application with your $95.00 non refundable fee and mail it to:

 Hi everyone.  Preschool is about to start and I’m so excited.  I was getting ready to retire but how can you retire when you love these kids so much.  So here I am ready for another school year.  The open house was changed to September 1 because of family needs.  Preschool starts on September 13th. Class 1 (4-5 year old class) will begin at 8:30 until 10:30.  Class 2 (3-4 year old class) begins at 10:45-12:45. $100 Payment will be due on September 13th or before any time.  You may pay however much you want. I keep track in my books as I am sure you do too.  I would like you to bring your child to preschool and leave as soon as you can. Sometimes it’s hard for the younger aged children to separate from their parent but in the 25 years I’ve taught the quicker removal of the bandage is always better in the long run.  If you ever have any questions please leave a message on my cell phone or text me 208-403-2715.  Looking forward to a great year❤️

 I was approached several days ago by a preschool mother who wants me to teach a 3-4 year class for September 2022-23.  I’ve  seen a great interest in just two days so this is what both of my class schedules will be this coming fall:  

Tuesday-Thursday 4-5 year old class: 8:30-10:30. ( this is for kids who will be going to kindergarten the following yr)  

Tuesday-Thursday 3-4 year olds. 10:45-12:45 

2022 👨🏻‍🎓 graduation will be on May 18. This will be the last day of preschool. Graduation will be held in my back yard and will be short and sweet!  In case of inclement weather we will come inside my front door to my home.

Monday-Wednesday class graduation will be in my back yard at 11:00 am please have your child dressed up nice

Tuesday-Thursday class graduation will be in my backyard at 11:45am.  Please have your child dress up nice.

 Dear Parents,

My 4-5 year old  Tuesday-Thursday class is full for fall 2022-3.  After which I am retiring.  I will not be teaching any other classes at this time.  Thanku so much for your support for 27 years.  It has been a wonderful ride and opportunity to experience.  We live in the greatest community ever and I am so happy to of helped so many children learn to “love school”🥲

 I haven’t posted for a while and I apologize for that.  Preschool is going in full force.  Here’s my checklist that the kids have learned so far:

The pledge of allegiance, their first sight words (I,a,see,can), their shapes (circle,square,triangle,star,oval,hexagon,octagon rectangle), days of the week, the letters A,B,C,D,E and their sounds along with songs (way up high in the apple tree, bluebird,bluebird,patty cake,hey diddle diddle, one elephant went out to play).  Our colors, and counting to 20+ And I have to add in that they are learning each other’s names and sharing.  

Things to work on:  I would like each child to be able to write his/her name by the end of October. We have been practicing this every other day. If you would like a practice sheet with your child’s name on it please let me know.  Also, now that they have their first reading book please have them go over each book that I start giving them and read every night before going to bed.  Also, please go over the alphabet train each night. Have them say the letter and sound.  This will encourage them and give them confidence as they begin reading.

Thank you for bringing your child and picking up your child on time.  Thankyou for the wonderful treats you have brought for each child. Thankyou for keeping them home when they are sick.  We live in peculiar circumstances with the covid and flu season upon us. If you ever have any questions please always ask.  I love helping anyway I can.

Just  a reminder.  I am leaving for Boston so there will be no preschool until October 27th and October 28.  

Depending on which day your child comes we will be having a Halloween party on those dates .  Please bring a wrapped treat (13) to have your child give to the other children.  This party will be a dress up party and we will be making homemade root beer and playing Halloween games.  Class will be regular time and day.  If for any reason you may have any questions please let me know.

 There will be no open house on sept 3. My daughter who lives with us and is in the final semester of her nursing classes has covid.  She had covid when it first came out back in January and had both shots too after.  The dr said we will be in the clear after sept 3.  As a  precaution I felt it better to just start preschool the set dates (sept 9&10).  If you have any questions or concerns we will address them after preschool on those days.  Thanku ❤️
