Openings are available for next fall (2019-20) if you are interested.
December has started off with 5 giant birthday cakes and lots of learning. Each class has painted their wooden snowmen and will be bringing them home next week. This week we traced each child's hand and made the cutest reindeer you've ever seen. I gave each class directions and then let them do what they wanted. They each had a lot of fun making them. We will be making gingerbread cookies, decorate a Christmas tree, paint stars and make snowflakes. On December 21, Santa will be making a visit upstairs with a surprise and some sugar cookies to eat and enjoy from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon. (Please come through the gate to my front door -instead of the preschool room) This will be the last day of school until the new year Jan 7, and 8, 2019.
The 4-5 yr. old classes are coming along well with their sight words. Today they read the book I gave them extremely well. They are understanding their phonics and counting to 100. Shapes are too easy for them and as they come back in January I will challenge their memorizing skills and teach them new shapes they've never heard🤓.
The 3-4 yr. old class are also doing very well. They love learning, playing games with each other and are learning a lot of social skills, which at this age is what they are developing. We are working on letters, sharing and writing their names. Their phonic songs they enjoy singing and they love ve their shapes.
I look forward everyday in seeing these children with smiles on their faces and how they love to learn. Thank you for this wonderful privilege and have a very Merry Christmas 🎄

The month of November 🦃 has gone by sooo fast! The turkeys have been designed beautifully.
NO SCHOOL All next week and have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING and safe travels🦃!!!!
Our pumpkin pies turned out and I hope you were able to have a tiny piece of pie👀 .
4-5 yr old classes: most know how to write their names or at least have a good idea how it begins. Know their letters to "g" and sound and an alphabet song for each of the letters they have learned. Can say the pledge of allegiance, know the days of the week, count to twenty, share, are kind to each other, being polite and waiting their turn to speak are just a few things we have learned in class. They love circle games, frog games, acting out the songs we learn, and of course, the parachute and games we play with it. They are learning what structure is and are becoming great listeners with patience. I am so proud of each student and its so wonderful to have the opportunity to be teaching each one of them. Thanku so much❤️.
3-4 yr old classes: are really starting to listen and pay attention. The pledge of allegiance is coming along so much better, as is the days of the week and counting to ten. Sharing and taking turns with the structure in the class has really improved. I'm soo proud of these little ones. They love story time and playing spin the bottle with new words we learn from the letters we have that particular week. Bingo and floor games they enjoy too. They have their phonics down to the letter "g". We are still working on their name writing and I know it's just a matter of time before they get it.❤️
*****Thank you for bringing such wonderful snacks on your assigned snack day and hey, if you forget don't worry just bring your child's snack the next time you come.
*****I've been trying to find a Santa, but have had no results. My Santa that I had for twenty years passed away two years ago and he was the best because he loved children! If anyone knows of a great Santa please let me know. I would really love to surprise your little ones

It's been such a spooky month in preschool this month of october🎃 We've had a lot of fun. Can'twait until tomorrow playing Halloween games, making witches brew and modeling our
costumes and pinning the nose on the pumpkin are just a few things planned for our Halloween party.
* Please remember if your child is in the Tuesday-Thursday class bring 12 wrapped treats
If your child is in the 4-5 yr old class on Wednesday please bring 13 wrapped treats and finally if your child is in the 3-4 year old class please bring 10 wrapped treats for each child in the class.
Classes have been going well. Please help your child with his/her sight word memorization, and I hope you are making sure they repeat to you before going to bed they're phonics.
I still have a few children that are struggling in writing they're name. Please make sure that your child writes his/her name first letter capital and the rest lower case. We have been learning the days of the week and also opposites and a little regarding rhythming words. We will be starting the letter "f" next week, after we have our class Halloween party tomorrow and Wednesday.
Have a happy Halloween everyone🎃
