We are coming to the end of the year and so I will try to make this as simple as what's on your calender:

Class 1 (8:45-10:45 mon/wed)
On May 15th Class will be normal time. Please Bring a cake to give away to another preschooler for our cake walk. Graduation will be on May 17th at 11:00 in my backyard. Please dress your child in Sunday best clothes. The graduation program will be short and sweet. If you cannot make it please let me know this week at preschool so I can make adjustments.

Class 2 (11:00-1:00 mon/wed)
On May 15th this will be your child's last day of school.  Please bring a cake to be given away to another preschooler this day.  We will be playing games and having a fun time together saying goodbyes.  We will see you next fall!

Class 3 (9:45-11:45 tues/Thurs)
On may 14th class will be normal time.  Please bring a cake to give away to another preschooler for our cake walk this day.  There will be no school on May 16th and graduation will be on Friday May 17th at 12:00 noon. Please have your child dress in Sunday best. The graduation program will be short and sweet.  If you cannot make it, please let me know this week at preschool so I can make adjustments.

*please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets on graduation day

Our Easter party will be on Wednesday and Thursday, April 17/18. (The regular preschool time your child comes).  I have baskets and fun surprises for each child. If you would like to bring a treat to put in each child's basket you will need to bring 11?  The Easter bunny will make his appearance and I will take lots of pics🐰

Just a reminder... Graduation is May 17th in my backyard.  Details will be in your envelope with the May calendar . Graduation is only for my 4-5 year old classes.

Easter party will be on the 10th and 11th - regular school hours

Just a heads up for May:

I know parents are trying to plan vacations/trips and so I wanted to give you a heads up on when the last day of school and graduations will be: (more info. Will come as we get closer to the dates)

Last day of school for 3-4 yr olds will be May 15. We will have a cake walk so be prepared to make a special cake for someone in your child's class. Please put it on a plate or something else that you don't want back.  We do not have a graduation because they come back the following year.

Monday/Wednesday class 1  8:45-10:45 4-5 yr old class graduation will be in my back yard.  Time 11:00am. Please bring your lawn chairs and /or blankets and have your child dress in Sunday best.

Tuesday/Thursday class 3  9:45-11:45 4-5 yr old class graduation will be in my back yard time: 12:00am. Please bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets  and have your child dress in Sunday best.

For the month of March here goes with regular class schedules:

 March 13 & 14 we will celebrate St. Pattys day at preschool
March 18 & 19  our "t" (Apple juice) party.  Have your child dress up in princess/super hero clothes or Sunday best clothes.  After eating and learning manners we will do some dancing together.

April 2: (Monday) no school. It is Madison school district spring break

If anyone is interested in signing their child up for preschool next fall (2019-20) please just fill out the registration form with your registration fee to: Valerie Doggett 361 east 4th south. Thanku. Please be sure to circle the class you would like your child to be in.

Our valentine party's were so much this week. Each class were learning about the letter "Q" and played duck, duck, quack!  We loved all the games we played and handing out the valentine cards was so much fun. Thank you moms for all you do. You are amazing women with wonderful children.

Hi everyone...can't believe it's going to be February in a week.  I wanted to let you know what we are doing in preschool.  The children know 12 shapes, can count to 20, knows his/her colors, can say his/her letters and phonics, know what syllables are, is still learning opposites, knows a song for each letter, has been taught at least 12 sight words and is beginning to learn how to write them.  Yes there only a few children who struggle, but I feel confident in helping them understand all the above.  

Please, please, if your child is coming home with worksheets (with their names on it) have them practice writing at home.* The children who are struggling with their sight words are the ones who don't practice their cards I give the mothers each month.  *Please when your child comes home review their reading books I make for them each night before they go to bed, along with their alphabet trains they bring home each week.  *If each parent shows an interest in what your child is learning and applies what I give you, your child will be much more dedicated and confident in himself.

February 13th and 14th will be our Valentine's Day party.  Please bring Valentine cards and wrapped treats for the list of children I gave to each of you.  Each child in class will be making and decorating Valentine bags to put everything in it they have.
